District 202 schools do well overall on state standardized tests.  Student achievement has improved dramatically since the early 2000s, and District 202 also made significant progress in closing the achievement gap between its white and minority students.

• About 94 percent of all District 202 students graduate, compared to about 88 percent statewide.

The Illinois State Board of Education issued summative designations for our schools. One of our schools earned an Exemplary designation, one school earned a Targeted designation, and all other schools earned a Commendable designation. The school identified as Targeted will receive additional supports from the State.
