The purpose of John F. Kennedy’s Falcon Social is to provide students with a social sense of belonging and community as they navigate through middle school. Our students are the pulse of the school—let’s give them the voice to digitally lead. Another goal of Falcon Social is to establish a strong foundation based on digital citizenship. It is so important for our students to be able to navigate digital environments safely while respectfully engaging in these social spaces. By being a part of this group, student leaders will be taught how to be mindful and empathetic online while acting as a digital springboard for student voices.
